Since Jake's death, I have been placing billboards around the Dallas Metroplex to encourage seat belt safety. I use them to get the attention of teens, but it also gets the attention of millions of others and opens up great conversation for old and young alike.
I choose to put them up when I know there are a lot of teens on the road; Christmas, Spring Break and summertime.
Each billboard costs approximately $1800 to put up for a month. They have a viewership of approximately 2.7 million drivers during that time. The billboards are possible thru donations from caring friends, companies and sometimes perfect strangers.
